Privacy Policy
This policy describes what Slayers 2 Guide (slayers2.world) does with data when you visit. It is written to match how the site is actually built, not to cover features we do not have.
Last updated: 23 September 2026. If we change how the site handles data, we will change this page and move that date.
Short version
- This is a static reference site. There are no user accounts, no logins and no profiles.
- We do not run a contact form and we do not collect anything you type.
- We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful — and only after you allow audience measurement in the consent prompt.
- We do not currently serve third-party advertising.
- We do not sell personal information.
What the site is
Slayers 2 Guide is a static website: the pages you read are pre-built files served to your browser. There is no application database behind them, no user session and no account system. We do not ask for your name, email, address or payment details, and there is no field on this site to enter them.
No accounts. We do not offer registration, login, comments, saves, favourites or any other feature that would create a record tied to you.
No forms. We do not currently operate a contact form, newsletter signup, notification service or any other input that submits data. Our contact page explains this openly.
No cookies set by us for functionality. We do not use cookies to remember preferences, and we do not use local storage to keep site state.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-JGQXRMXW6Z) to collect aggregate statistics: which pages are viewed, roughly where visits come from, what device and browser type is used, and how visitors arrive. This helps us decide which pages to keep updated.
Google Analytics sets its own cookie identifiers (commonly _ga and _ga_<container-id>) in your browser and processes the resulting data on Google's infrastructure. Google acts as our analytics provider; its handling of that data is described in Google's own privacy policy.
We use analytics to look at traffic in aggregate. We do not use it to identify individual visitors, and we do not attempt to connect analytics data to any real-world identity.
Advertising
We do not currently serve third-party advertising on this site.
If advertising is introduced, ad networks may use cookies, local storage, device and browser information, IP address, page URLs and ad-interaction data to select and measure ads. That change would require this page to be updated *before* ads go live, including a description of the networks involved, their data practices and their opt-out mechanisms.
Consent and regional choices — current status
What is in place, and what is still open:
- A consent prompt is shown on your first visit, and no analytics script is requested until you allow audience measurement there.
- You can change or withdraw that choice at any time with the Privacy choices button in the page footer.
- Google Consent Mode defaults are sent as denied for ad storage and advertising personalisation; this site runs no advertising, so there is nothing to allow for it.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC) handling and a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link are not yet implemented, because the site sells nothing and collects no personal information beyond analytics identifiers.
- Regional rules for non-essential cookies have not been evaluated for this site's traffic.
Because the site currently runs analytics only — with no advertising and no personal data collection beyond standard analytics identifiers — this is not a claim of compliance. It is a record of what still needs to be done. If you require that no analytics run for your visit, rejecting audience measurement in the consent prompt is enough, and your browser's tracking-protection settings or an analytics opt-out browser add-on work as well.
External links
This site links out to sources and services we do not control, including Roblox, the official Slayers 2 Discord server, YouTube, and third-party news and wiki sites. Once you follow an external link, that site's own privacy policy governs what happens next. We are not responsible for the content or data practices of external sites.
We do not use affiliate links, and we do not receive payment for the outbound links on our pages.
Hosting and server logs
Like most websites, the hosting and content-delivery infrastructure that serves these pages may automatically record technical request data (such as IP address, user agent and requested URL) for security and reliability purposes. This is standard infrastructure logging, not something we assemble into visitor profiles.
Children
This site is a general-audience reference for a Roblox game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and there is no mechanism on this site through which a child could submit personal information to us.
Changes to this policy
The date at the top of this page reflects the last substantive change. If we add analytics providers, advertising, a consent platform or any data-collecting feature, this page will be updated as part of that work, and the change will be noted rather than applied silently.
Questions about this policy
Our contact page sets out how to raise a privacy question. We do not currently publish a public inbox; the contact page states that status plainly and explains what to include so a message can be acted on once a channel is live.
